Mo te turanga About the roleThe telecommunications team is responsible for the implementation, monitoring and enforcing of the Telecommunications Act 2001, which regulates the supply of certain telecommunications services. The purpose of this regulation is to promote competition in telecommunications markets for the long-term benefit of consumers in New Zealand.We are looking for an experienced Senior Investigator to join our Telecommunications Regulatory Rules and Compliance Team. This is a permanent position based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, or our Tamaki Makaurau office. This role will contribute to delivery of a work programme including compliance assessments and investigations, engaging stakeholders at the right time about the right things, providing advice and recommendations and ensuring industry is aware of, and abiding by its obligations.The added benefit of the role is that you'll work alongside technical experts who will mentor and guide you through your career and in return you will provide coaching and mentoring to developing team members.Indicative Salary The indicative salary range for this role is $112,970 - $132,906 plus 3% KiwiSaver employer contribution.
