Due to continued success and a large volume of projects they have (now and in the future), they are looking to grow their team. We're currently looking for a Senior and Intermediate Consultant / Quantity Surveyor or similar to join their Tauranga-based team.
With an impressive portfolio of clients specializing in renewable energy, civils infrastructure, development management, and community projects, they have a strong forward workload ahead.
This role is varied and no two days will be the same. You'll get the opportunity to be involved throughout the project lifecycle in the following areas:
Procurement advisory
Estimating
Tender evaluation
Contract negotiation and preparation
Variation assessment
Payment claim certification
Dispute resolution
Providing construction advisory services
Reporting to the Director, you'll be part of a team of five. The successful candidate will come with a passion for the industry and will be looking for the next opportunity in their career. This consultancy brings expert commercial management to their clients, along with their own individual expertise in areas including contract law, sustainability, and BIM.
We are looking for an experienced construction professional with at least 4+ years experience , who enjoys combining technical expertise and practical experience to develop solutions for their clients, as well as the flexibility to bring your own unique skills and expertise.
You'll be someone with strong commercial acumen, have the ability to work autonomously and lead client relationships. Your communication will be second to none and you'll also have exceptional attention to detail.
Other key requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or similar
Solid NZ Contract knowledge
Ideally some consultancy experience
Strong Excel skills
Outstanding written & verbal communication skills
