As the Senior Integrity Adviser, you will apply a strengths-based approach to understand integrity incidents or allegations involving staff in line with the Department's relevant policies and procedures. You will have the opportunity to work closely with your team and regional leaders providing insights and opportunities to strengthen staff integrity.
You will provide advice and support to senior leaders, and be involved in the delivery of integrity prevention, education, and detection initiatives and activities to raise awareness of, and address fraud, corruption, dishonesty, and other criminal activity risks.
Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:
Excellent verbal and written communication and report writing skills.
Ability to influence in areas for which they have responsibility but not line management responsibility.
Proven ability to develop positive and trusted working relationships and credibility with all levels of staff and stakeholders.
Ability to respond, prioritise and act quickly to ad-hoc issues involving integrity incidents of a complex or sensitive nature which requires making effective decisions often under pressure and the scrutiny of the public, media, and government.
Impeccable standards of integrity, including unquestionable confidentiality and behaviour.
This role requires the successful applicant to hold and maintain Secret security clearance, please check your eligibility here prior to applying.
The full salary range (85%-120%) is $91,953 - $129,816 per annum, with the midpoint being $108,180 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
