This is the mission of our approximately 22,400 employees.In New Zealand, OMV operates the Maui and Pohokura gas fields, as well as the Maari oilfield, and continues to invest in development these fields to extend their field life.About the RoleOMV New Zealand Limited requires an experienced Senior Technician Maintenance. As a member of the offshore Maui Maintenance Offshore Team, the role of Senior Maintenance Technician (I&E) will be based on the Maui Platforms and is responsible for the effective operation of those operational sites, while primarily focusing on the planning, procurement and execution of routine and breakdown maintenance activities to support the operation.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure that the appropriate safety and environmental management practices are applied to the execution of all work undertaken, and promote safe, environmentally compliant and quality work practices amongst other team members.Coordinate, prepare and review work packs for self and campaign style maintenance teams.Lead and communicate with multiple discipline contractor crews.Plan all assigned work orders to ensure compliance with due by date generated in SAP.Procurement and tracking of materials for maintenance activities assigned to you in SAP.Contribution and execution of Project type activities where assigned.Identify and initiate management of change processes.Be actively involved in site emergency roles and exercises with the objective of containing situations based on the priorities of People, Assets, Environment and Production.Mentoring and training new staff and apprentices in respective trade.Your ProfileTrade Certificate/Level 4 NZQA National Certificate (IMC) and minimum 5 years experience preferred.Experience in leading and preparing work for small campaign style teams.Experience in oil and gas production operations.Conversant with Permit to Work, isolation and hazard management systems.Able to use IT systems and tools.Excellent communication skills.What you can expect from OMVOMV believe that they can only evolve and thrive as a company with a highly diverse mix of employees and by ensuring a healthy work-life balance.
