Our Project Management Office is at the heart of this mission, driving projects that span across three waters, civil works, the built environment, and building disciplines.
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team and lead the successful delivery of these critical projects.
As a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager - Buildings and Structures team, you will take the lead on complex and high-profile projects that are crucial to the district's development.
You will be responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that each project is delivered to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.
Your role will involve close collaboration with various stakeholders, including council departments, contractors, and the community.
Manage complex high-risk projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, driving successful outcomes that meet project plan objectives.Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure fit for purpose solutions are delivered and agreed project outcomes are met.Drive and monitor project performance and facilitate improvements required to achieve project objectives.Proactively identify and effectively manage project risks, working collaboratively to resolve complex issues to minimise or avoid risks to the project.Drive supplier, contractor and consultant engagement and performance to meet design standards, project milestones and legislative and regulatory requirements.Tertiary Project Management / Engineering / Science / Technology / Architectural/Building / Construction / Planning Qualification.Experience of managing large scale, high risk and complex assets or construction projects, preferably in vertical construction.Ability to build and lead bespoke / tailored project teams and proactively manage key project stakeholders.He aha ai a Taranaki?
