We're looking for an amazing part-time Senior Information Officer to join us and lead our front-line gallery team!Mo te tunga | About the roleThe Senior Information Officer plays a pivotal role in bridging the front-of-house team with leadership, ensuring the seamless delivery of exceptional visitor experiences in both operational and active capacities. This 20 hour per week position requires active participation in the exhibition spaces, which necessitates a certain level of physical fitness to manage the demands of the role. You will manage weekend operations, including staff rostering, hosting protocols, and some performance monitoring. Your responsibilities also include upholding health and safety standards, implementing visitor surveys, and maintaining a high standard of gallery presentation.We are seeking a friendly and approachable individual with extensive customer service experience, management background and strong cultural and community awareness. The ability to work effectively within a political environment is essential.
