As our new Senior Industrial Mechanical Engineer, you'll work with a team of highly skilled specialists. What are we looking for from you? The ideal senior industrial mechanical engineer will have the following; Mechanical engineering degree from a Washington Accord accredited institution. Proficiency in pressure piping system design, surge analysis, pipe stress analysis, and familiarity with PECPR requirements, AS/NZS 1170, ASME B31 suite of codes or equivalent. Preferably a background in working on wharf lines, terminals and bulk storage projects. Proven project management experience, ideally across a diverse range of infrastructure projects. Experience or keen interest in a hybrid role encompassing office-based and site-based work, demonstrating a readiness to travel for exposure to industrial sites. A proven ability to cultivate client relationships, establishing partnerships that lead to successful project outcomes. What will you be doing? Leading design projects for manufacturing/industrial clients across Australia/NZ, specialising in system integration and detailed pressure piping design. Manage scoping, costing, and customer support for project approval. Drive decarbonisation efforts, guiding clients towards a low-emission future. Oversee feed studies, detailed services design, and project implementation. Spearhead upgrades for terminal sites in NZ, covering wharf lines, piping, pumping, gantries, and fire suppression. Champion bulk storage projects, focusing on tank design and commissioning. Manage large multidiscipline projects involving Civil, Structural, Electrical, Process, Geotech, Survey, and Land contamination. Engage in all project phases from concept to commissioning, ensuring seamless execution. Collaborate within a national team to meet client needs and review projects from other consultants. Generate professional and visually compelling deliverables, transforming complex analyses, including business cases, into clear and actionable insights.
