The Role:
Support and lead estate litigation, claims against estates, trust litigation and the surrounding family law of this realm.
PPPR and Welfare Guardianship applications are additional examples of other key focus areas.
You will be operating as the sole Litigator and will have two highly experienced senior managers as support along with the ability to use external litigation services for very big cases.
Your wider team of 10 will also be able to assist with some of the workload in this position.
Because of the footprint of this organisation – work will come to you so there will not be the need to bring in new business.
Ideally this role will be based in Auckland, Christchurch or Hamilton.
Requirements:
Litigation Experience.
It will be advantageous to understand Trusts and Estates, but this is not essential.
The ability to manage, advise and build internal and external relationships.
