The role and you Our Deskside Support team is responsible for providing ICT services for Council and CCO's. Primarily operating within Microsoft 365, the team manages and administers endpoint devices - including Laptops, desktops and meeting room technology, both remotely and onsite where required. The team helps to maintain Council's security posture for endpoint devices and accounts while offering an ever-improving service and experience for our kaimahi.
As the Senior ICT Support Analyst, your focus will be providing primarily third level support to the wider organisation, ensuring an effective, efficient, and secure operation of WCC's desktop environment, receiving and handling requests for support and responding to a broad range of service requests by providing information to fulfil requests and enable resolutions.
A quick snapshot of the experience we're looking for: Proven experience working within Microsoft 365 to develop and maintain compliance, configuration and conditional access policies, complex application packaging and deployment, management and maintenance of endpoint devices (Windows, Android and Teams rooms). MacOS and iOS experience is a plus.Demonstrable experience in prioritising and diagnosing 2 nd and 3 rd level incidents, investigating root cause and seeking resolution. Ability to own and drive resolution, while also identifying and implementing service improvements.Developing and maintaining knowledge base articles and key documentation.Engaging with delivery and project teams to help find, develop and implement technical solutions.Provide expert advice and guidance to enable the Wellington City Council to get maximum value from its technology assets.Mentoring and guiding more junior members of staffWe're Working for Wellington.
