The Pūmanawa Tāngata (HR) team sits within He Pou Aronui - Organisational Capability & Services, a branch dedicated to supporting the rest of the Department to succeed.
We operate with an enterprise-view of Te Tari Taiwhenua, founded around our kaimahi, conditions and fiscal operating context.

This is a true generalist role with plenty of challenges and ongoing opportunities to continue to grow as a HR professional.
The key to your success will be your proactive approach, natural curiosity and the ability to hit the ground running in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
You'll use your proven HR experience and sound knowledge of HR principles, practices, and processes to navigate complexity and tailor solutions to meet a variety of business needs.
A high proficiency in advising on ER policy and legislation is required for this role, as well as prior experience in change management.
