A visible leadership role supporting a large Manufacturing Operations team Opportunities to grow your career We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to support our Manufacturing Operations team. With approximately 2000 employees, they are a large and busy team who are integral to our Company's success. A significant proportion of this workforce are covered by a Collective Agreement.
Key Responsibilities: Have ownership of your portfolio, building a deep understanding of their strategic objectives and working collaboratively with senior Manufacturing Leaders to design and deliver HR strategies that drive achievement of these. Lead and develop four HR Advisors and one Business Partner; improving and streamlining the delivery of our HR service and ensuring business objectives are met. We take a continuous improvement approach in everything we do. Build on our coaching culture to ensure our Leaders and their teams can fulfill their potential. Use data to support decision making, improve how we work, and identify trends that affect our teams. Bring employment relations issues to resolution and maintain productive working relationships with the union. About you: An experienced HR Business Partner, who loves being in the thick of the action while bringing strategic focus to the role. You are passionate about developing people and have led a team previously. You'll be calm and composed, with experience working in a large, unionized environment across all aspects of industrial & employment relations. Knowledge of New Zealand employment law is required, and previous Manufacturing experience is preferred. You take pride in building trusted relationships which enable you to partner successfully and influence stakeholders. You combine HR knowledge with business and commercial awareness to deliver pragmatic solutions that support business outcomes. You'll be customer focused, curious and have strong problem-solving skills. Due to the nature of our Manufacturing Operation, this role is predominately based on site at our Highbrook campus. We can accommodate one day work from home and flexible start and finish times.
