We have an ambitious plan ahead and are on the hunt for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to be a part of this exciting mahi.Working across our Transport Services business group, you will be involved in all of the typical facets of a Senior HR Advisor role, getting alongside our leaders and supporting them in all of their people needs.This is not a back office HR role - as a key enabler, the role will see you partner with leaders to build a deep understanding of what is happening in the business, and provide support across all aspects of people and organisational capability; from employment relations and organisational design and development, through to performance management, HR operations, talent management and reward.Reporting to the HR Business Partner, this role offers a great stepping stone for Senior HR Advisor's looking to progress their career in a large and complex organisation, we guarantee you will be kept busy while learning a lot along the way.Ko koe tenei | About youTo be successful in this role, you will bring:A proven foundation and knowledge of principles and practice of HR including NZ employment law and compliance requirementsSolid experience in at least one HR specialty area, with a preference for Employment Relations and/or ChangeExperience championing change, winning buy-in from people leaders and working through resistanceExcellent relationship building and stakeholder management skillsProven ability to effectively coach employees and leaders to build their capability and support through complex and difficult issuesA qualification in Human Resources or other related field or equivalent work experienceYou will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Maori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Maori.
