We are working alongside a market leading manufacturing company who is looking for a HR advisor for the next 3 - 6 months.
Start Date: ASAPHours: Hybrid 8.00am and 5.00pm Monday to FridayFlexibility: Initially onsite with some flexibility for remote work as the assignment progressesHourly rate: $38.00 - $55 + 8% holiday pay (this is dependent on your level of experience)Location: West Auckland (on-site parking available)Based in Avondale, we are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a manufacturing/FMCG background and experience working in both white-collar and blue-collar environments. You will be reporting directly to the HR Manager and supporting in key areas of HR, including remuneration reviews, performance management, and policy development.
What will you be doing?Assist managers with performance reviews, goal setting, and grievance processes.Help maintain and update communications policies and procedures.Aid in onboarding processes, including drafting offer letters and IT setup.Ensure all HR records are accurate and up to date.Collaborate with the GM NZ & AU HR Managers to deliver training on HR modules, specifically focusing on core and talent management.Support the transition to a unified human capital system on Oracle, moving from a paper-based approach.What are they looking for?Proven experience working as an HR advisor, with the ability to work autonomously.Experience in both blue-collar and white-collar industries, such as manufacturing or construction.Previous experience with unionised organisations.This is a great role for someone looking to make an impact in a short period of time.
