Senior House Officer - Various Opportunities Jan 2025 at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Whanganui, Manawatu / Whanganui Whanganui Hospital is seeking applications from suitably qualified Senior House officers for a variety of runs. To apply for this role, you must be a PGY3. For our UK applicants, you will need to have completed your foundation years 1 & 2.
We have several runs available for you to work in. These include the following:
Emergency
Relief covering absences across the hospital
Our hospital is a well-resourced centre, proud of its comprehensive range of services designed to support the people of Whanganui in their health journey.
Our hospital serves a population of approximately 60,000, performing 4,000 procedures annually in three elective theatres and one acute theatre. We have more than 50 RMOs working in General Medicine, Mental Health, Emergency, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, O&G, Paediatrics, Anaesthetic Departments, and as Relievers. These positions do include night and weekend shifts on a rotating roster.
