Senior Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality ManagerAbout the CompanyOur client is a leading provider of environmental solutions, committed to transforming New Zealand into a cleaner and more sustainable place. With a strong focus on innovation and sustainability, they are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Manager.About the RoleAs a Senior Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's safety culture and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining product and service quality.Responsibilities will include:Team Management: You will lead a team of 10 staff with 3 direct reports. Your direct reports will include mechanical and engineering managers. You will help deliver quality control along with health, safety and environmental programs.Operational Excellence: Overseeing day-to-day HSE&Q operations, including incident investigations, risk assessments, and emergency response planning.Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring adherence to regulations, as well as industry best practices.Engagement: Building strong relationships with stakeholders, providing expert advice and support.Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for improvement and driving initiatives to enhance HSE&Q performance.Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will possess:A strong track record in HSE&Q management, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.A relevant tertiary qualification in Health, Safety, Environment, or Quality Management.A deep understanding of relevant regulations and standards.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.A proactive and results-oriented approach.What is On OfferA competitive salary packageOpportunities for professional development and career growth.A supportive and collaborative work environment.The chance to work on challenging and rewarding projects.If you are passionate about safety, sustainability, and making a positive impact, we encourage you to apply.To apply for this position, submit your CV by following the link below.
