We have built our longevity on customer service excellence, great teamwork, honesty, integrity, and building rapport with our customers.We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our Technology team based in Support Office.Reporting to the Development Team Leader, this role is responsible for developing and supporting the Instant Finance loan management environment.Ideal Candidate:Minimum of 10 years commercial software application development experience utilizing Microsoft technology (including Azure and .Net) in senior development roles. Specific skills such as VB.Net and C#.Net, Azure development, SQL Server database experience and .Net Core exposure are preferred.Preference will be given to candidates who have experience and skills in front-end development – specifically Vue.js and/or Umbraco integration.Exposure to Microsoft Data Warehousing toolset (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and PowerBI) is beneficial but not essential.Practical experience with Agile development processes.Familiarity with modern systems architecture styles.Knowledge of FinTech trends and developments.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an effective, results focus.Proven ability to be flexible and a willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Logical thinker, good with multitasking, detail orientated and an effective communicator.Key Responsibilities:Create solution designs and technical specifications for development projects.Improve systems and processes by studying current practices; designing, developing and implementing modifications.Translate business case requirements, functional and non-functional specifications into solutions which fulfil the needs of the stakeholders.Deliver software solutions to meet project schedules and budgets.Design and implement automated build processes for continuous integration with robust automated testing tools where appropriate (DevOps).Serve as a liaison and facilitator between business units and external providers to assist in addressing and resolving issues.Maintain current knowledge of rapidly changing technology and where appropriate utilize new techniques/approaches to achieve a better outcome.Provide technical leadership in front-end development.Why us?Inclusive and supporting team environment.National network.Opportunities to grow and develop.Life insurance benefits.If this sounds like a role you'd be keen on, you'll be joining an organisation that has a strong identity and is proud of providing outstanding customer service for 53 years.Applications close 12 January 2025 or on appointment.
