A gorgeous interior design sets the scene for this charming, relaxed eatery. Café du Marche is open every day, offering European influenced dishes with a twist, and a generous nod to French and Italian kitchens. Seating capacity for both functions and dining is around 70.About the positionBoth Part-time or Full-time options are possible.We are opening our cafe 3 evenings a week: Hours 4pm - 9pm (approx) Thu - Sat plus functions.In this hands-on role, you will work closely with the Head Chef as he curates an evening menu including tapas, small and large plates, alongside our Pizza and Rotisserie offer.Ideal background will include experience in both FOH and Bar work:A passion to provide an excellent dining experience for our guests.Ability to lead, train and inspire a talented team.Extensive knowledge of local and international beverage trends.Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages to meet set standards.Very organised and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge and experience of quality Barista coffee, a bonus.Understand flexibility – you need to be free to work a range of shifts, especially night time and weekend.Qualifications:At least 3 years relevant Senior FOH Restaurant/Cafe/Bar experience in Hospitality.A valid LCQ and Duty Managers Certificate (or we can update).This role can be full-time which will involve a mix of day/night and weekend work.
