This role will be based in either our Dunedin or Auckland office.You will be responsible for:Leading data consolidation initiatives with external partners, utilizing tools like Alteryx to streamline processes and deliver actionable insights.Identifying and implementing improvements to data collation and reporting workflows for both monthly and annual cycles.Driving automation of group reporting models, enhancing efficiency and accuracy across financial processes.Acting as the primary contact for key external stakeholders (e.g., JBS and EY), ensuring timely and accurate reporting and compliance.Collaborating with internal teams to align on data requirements and deliver insights that inform strategic decisions.Preparing consolidated financial statements, statutory financial reports, and facilitating external audits.Managing group cash flow reporting and contributing to the annual consolidated budget.To be a great match to this role you will:Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance or business-related discipline with sound knowledge and practical application of accounting standards.Qualified and accredited Chartered Accountant.3–5 years of experience in financial operations or management accounting within large commercial organisations. Proven experience in data management, financial analysis, and stakeholder communication.Expertise with tools like Alteryx and Adaptive for data consolidation and reporting.Strong understanding of group accounting principles and technical accounting practices.A track record of automating reporting processes and driving data-driven insights.Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.The Company:SCOTT specialise in the design and manufacture of automated production, robotics and process machinery.
