The Role Support and assist the Group Reporting Manager deliver the Group's monthly reporting to Senior Management and the Board in a timely and accurate manner.
This includes all monthly accounting, forecasting, intercompany and cost recharge processes, cash management, and supporting the interim and year end financial reporting deliverables.
Duties will include, but not be limited to: Monthly accounting, including balance sheet reconciliations, month end accruals and reporting; Managing the monthly intercompany recharge and group intercompany reconciliation process across business units; Coordinating the quarterly group forecast processes; Responsible for day to day banking transactions, including clearing, reporting and monthly reconciliations; Support the Group interim/annual financial statements and preparation of reporting packs; Co-ordinate and support interim and year end audit process; The ideal candidate will have an accounting degree and be CA / CPA qualified (or equivalent), with 5+ years of experience and strong technical skills in IFRS.
This role is perfect for someone coming from practice, looking to make their first move into industry.
You will have previous experience in month end accounting including journal entries and GL reconciliations.
Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and group month end processes and experience in complex group consolidations, foreign currency translations, and elimination entries.
High attention to detail and excellent communication skills are also key.
