If you're passionate about strategy and looking to make a meaningful difference, this role is for you.The RoleManage and mentor a small professional team across the accounting functionPrepare regular financial management reports including variance analysis to assist Management, Boards and CommitteesPrepare annual financial accounts and financial statements in preparation for audit/review.Manage audit processes including appointment of an auditor, management of the audit process and addressing audit reports.Evaluate systems, procedures and practices and make recommendations for, and implement, improvements.Manage the preparation of operating budgets (including capex plans) and financial forecasts.Provide strategic advice and guidance from a financial position to the Senior Management Team.Oversee managed investment funds and assist Investment Sub-committee.Undertake processing of accounts payable and receivable data, accounts reconciliation and financial records and reports.Manage payments, term deposits and financial transactions with banks and other financial institutions.About youYou must be sympathetic to the mission and the projects that they are working on and towardsBachelors degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in AccountingCA qualification or equivalent is preferredExperience providing strategic advice to SLT and boards such as insurance, capital asset management and riskAbility to work across a multi-entity businessExperience in Xero is desired.Strong written and verbal communication skills.To ApplyIf you are interested in this role, please click APPLY, or for a confidential conversation, please contact Harriet Hrynkewycz at Find Recruitment on 022 098 2794.
