About the Role This role leads the BI Project technical requirements gathering, ensuring the design is future focused and fit for purpose. Support the organisation along its BI transformation journey to turn data into business insight. Key BI role for Finance, supporting Finance teams in markets and the global Finance team with BI training and other support.
BI 'Super User' for Finance, supporting Finance teams in markets and the global Finance team with training and other support.Primary link between Finance and our BI Development Team in IT (Data & Analytics), translating technical finance or reporting problems into clear development requirements for the BI team to work with.Lead the delivery of specific strategic finance projects as required bringing a system & data integrity focus to the projects.Proactively look for opportunities for automation / process improvement using BI.Support the development of the Finance Data Analyst through knowledge sharing and training.About You Demonstrated commercial experience with information systems management, with a particular focus upon reporting and financial systems.Proven ability to quickly build up expert knowledge and understanding of these financial systems, as well as process flows and value chains.Experience in Business Process Improvement including problem solving and root cause analysis.Management / Financial Accounting experience an advantage.Microsoft Power BI experience (or similar reporting system).Oracle JDE experience preferred.Advanced excel and data modelling preferred.What we offer Along with a competitive salary, flexible working, ongoing development and excellent growth and progression opportunities, as a valued member of our team you'll enjoy generous discounts on Fisher & Paykel and Haier products, life & disability insurance, discounted medical cover, access to our superannuation scheme, our subsidised staff café, and free car parking when you are on-site.
