Are you a finance professional with a knack for compliance, risk management, and policy implementation?
We're looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our dynamic Finance Team and help shape the financial landscape of our Council's development projects.
In this role, you'll be at the heart of ensuring that our Development Contribution policies are applied consistently and accurately.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, from infrastructure to resource consent, and provide expert financial advice that helps guide decision-making.
Key Responsibilities Include: Implementing and monitoring the Development Contribution policy to ensure fairness and compliance.Assessing development applications, providing timely contribution estimates, and offering expert guidance to developers.Ensuring smooth internal controls and risk management practices that strengthen our finance operations.Advising on financial policies, identifying potential risks, and helping the team stay ahead of regulatory changes.Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for operational and legislative requirements.About you: This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an individual with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for driving business results.
You will also have:
