Senior Fast Track Advisor - Regulatory Consenting Specialist at Department of Conservation, Flexible Help regulate use of conservation land and interaction with our wildlife

The Department of Conservation Te Papa Atawhai (DOC) serves to protect and restore nature spaces and species across Aotearoa.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced regulatory consenting specialist to join a newly established team focused on delivering our critical permissions work and analysis in a high-paced environment. Leveraging your expertise in previous regulatory consenting roles (Conservation, RMA or other regulator contexts), you'll provide high quality and bespoke responses to complex Fast Track proposals.
You may have a background in planning, consenting, policy or consultancy – either way, you'll have a genuine interest in achieving great outcomes for conservation in the resource management area!
In addition, you will have:
Experience working on implementation and delivery of regulatory processes; particularly being comfortable navigating policy and legislative settings
Experience analysing a range of information to produce high quality reports and succinct recommendations for decision makers
Excellent communication, relationship and influencing skills, demonstrated through successful experience in cross agency/organisation collaboration

The salary range for this position is $92,450 - $116,985 with the starting salary of the successful applicant negotiated based on their level of relevant skills and experience.
