PACCAR designs and manufactures advanced diesel engines and also provides customized financial services, information technology, and truck parts related to its principal business.Requisition Summary: The Senior Facility Technician will assist with managing the resources of the Corporate Facility and Maintenance Department, to assure safe, clean, well-maintained, and efficient facilities at the PACCAR Building, Bellevue Park Plaza, Yarrow Bay Office Park, and other office buildings as assigned.
Promotes maintenance and engineering presentation of the facility consistent with PACCAR's image as the world's best supplier of high quality, innovative technology tailored to provide premium products that customers are proud to own.Job Functions/Responsibilities:Communicates effectively with facility technicians and builds working relationships with building occupants, including PACCAR employees, senior management, tenants, and building service contractors.Assists in developing an annual capital facility improvements list, including planning for outbuildings, infrastructure upgrades, equipment replacement, and building modifications.Maintain/update the ongoing preventive maintenance program for all properties, including analyzing, organizing, and managing vendors, small projects, engineering, and maintenance work.Trains all new facility personnel in PACCAR building repair procedures.Review, select, and oversee contractors and subcontractors, evaluate proposals, and prepare recommendations for contracted services.Ensure all critical building systems, including HVAC, electrical systems, boiler, BMS, City permits, and Fire systems, are annually tested and current.Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs on systems or supervise qualified employees or subcontractors performing the work.Operate and troubleshoot automated building control systems and other types of computer controls and systems.Establish and maintain a program that assures clear and concise records are kept on all maintenance procedures performed by personnel.Oversight of tenant improvement projects and other projects as assigned.Submits P.O.
requests for proper supplies and equipment and works with the facility administrator to ensure payments to vendors.Communicates with the cleaning contractor to assure proper cleaning of the properties.Maintain parking/parking garage in a clean manner with proper lighting.Continually reviews operational procedures and makes effective changes as needed.Responsible for building security issues/systems, including facility parking areas and cameras.Demonstrated proficiency and experience in utilizing current technology and tools (hardware and software).Oversees project management work as delegated.Qualifications:Certification or demonstrated high level of competency in the maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and/or HVAC fields is desirable.
Computer Skills - Knowledge and ability to use personal computers and software.
