Senior Facilities Engineer, Palmerston North Hospital

This is a unique opportunity to be part of setting the strategic direction for the building and infrastructure services in a hospital setting. MidCentral is upgrading and expanding its infrastructure services, taking a 30-50 year view. It is creating an Infrastructure Strategic Plan and Roadmap to guide investment and seeks a skilled Senior Facilities Engineer to support its implementation.This role will help ensure that not only does the hospital's plant and infrastructure operate efficiently and effectively, it supports the work of clinical teams and the delivery of health and disability care. This role is extremely varied and busy with huge opportunities to gain expertise and experience across a wide-ranging setting. Critical thinking, quickly understanding a large and intricately linked organization with the ability to coordinate multiple demands simultaneously and efficiently, whilst engaging across the operation will be key to your success.
