We have an exciting opportunity to join our Brand and Customer Engagement team as a Senior Experience Designer.
In this role, you will facilitate collaboration across a broad range of internal and external users to establish clear problem statements and hypotheses.
You will prioritize these problems and facilitate idea generation to arrive at valued solutions, providing on-the-job coaching in design methods to support our way of working and accelerate SNZ's digital and innovation maturity.
What you'll do: Collaborate with Business Leaders or Product Owners to develop approach plans to identify activities that will either: understand and clarify a problem and its root causes; generate ideas to address a well-understood problem; or create alignment amongst stakeholders.
Plan and facilitate workshops using design thinking methods that align with Suncorp Group's established 'Customer by Design' playbooks.
Provide advice on high-level design approaches based on data and customer insights, design industry standards, and experience.
Collaborate closely with Business Leaders, Product Owners, and SMEs to progress problem-solving and identify opportunities.
Support ongoing development of problem-solving and design knowledge amongst Product Owners and Business Leaders.
What you'll bring: Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Design, Psychology, and/or Business, or a similar skill level acquired through experience.
5+ years practical experience of group facilitation across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
5+ years practical application of Lean, Agile, and Human-Centered Design methods in financial services or other consumer-driven organizations.
Proven systems thinking experience.
High proficiency in digital design patterns.
High proficiency in utilizing disparate information sources to synthesize actionable insights.
