Founded in 1905 as the Straits Settlements and Federated Malay States Government Medical School, NUS is the oldest higher education institution in Singapore Job description: Background The Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) was established in 1988 as an independent think-tank to study and generate public policy ideas in Singapore. IPS became an autonomous research centre of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore in 2008. The Institute examines issues of critical national interest across a variety of fields, and studies the attitudes and aspirations of Singaporeans through surveys of public perception. You will be required to oversee the Quality Control (QC) data administration and provide support to audit checks of survey fieldwork. You will have the opportunity to acquire critical QC operations skills as well as benefit from exposure to advanced data processing analysis. Responsibilities Manage projects, including performing QC checks / audits on interviewers via telephone validations, audio audits, onsite checks, observations; Supervise Data and QC Team; Review, rectify data discrepancies; Scripting and User Acceptance Testing (UAT); Ensure data consistency and accuracy; Perform data coding, cleaning and processing; Manage longitudinal panel data; Operational Data Analysis and Reporting; Training interviewers in accordance with QC's standards; Provide timely feedback to rectify any data discrepancies; Evaluate and generating data report etc. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification; Prior experience working with data related to government-related research projects and longitudinal panel datasets or in market research would be useful Strong experience in coding SSOC & SSIC; Excellent data management skills Familiarity with SPSS DimensionNet and Qualtrics for Data Collection; knowledge of writing SPSS syntax for data logic check and data processing; Meticulous and detailed orientated More Information Location: Bukit Timah Campus Organization: Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy Department : Institute of Policy Studies Employee Referral Eligible: Job requisition ID : 19450 Company information Registration No. 200604346E Report this job advert Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
