Arinex, Australia's first carbon-neutral event organisation, is seeking a talented individual to take on the role of Senior Event Manager.

The role is offered on a full time, remote working basis for applicants residing in either Auckland or Christchurch in New Zealand.

Your Role:

As a Senior Event Manager at Arinex, you will:

Develop and deliver multi-day/destination travel incentive/touring programs for international clients/groups.
Develop and deliver special events (gala/awards dinners or similar).
Lead and inspire your clients to efficiently manage program/event planning, timelines, and budgets.
Be the driving force behind seamless planning and delivery, ensuring programs/events meet our high standards.
Manage onsite delivery team, including language guides and support staff where required for each program/event.
Maximize revenue by identifying upsell opportunities and fostering repeat business.
Cultivate strong supplier relationships through effective communication.
Collaborate with internal teams, ensuring everyone is in the loop with project information.
Encourage client feedback to enhance Arinex products and services.
Actively participate in industry activities and promote a positive team environment.
What You Bring:

Essential:

Proven experience in managing travel incentives/touring programs, and special events.
Strong destination and product knowledge, and experience working in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji markets.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience managing international clients/groups, where English may not be their first language.
Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong financial literacy to manage event budgets and process supplier and client invoices.
Strong organisational and planning skills.
Ability to travel for site inspection and program delivery (program durations range from 5-12 days) and work outside of standard business hours for special event delivery.
Desirable:

Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality, Event Management, or related field.
Familiarity with venues, suppliers, and destination products in Australia, New Zealand & Fiji.
