Senior Estimator - Commercial Projects

This commercial construction company has a strong reputation for delivering projects on time and on budget with an outstanding commitment to client service delivery. They focus predominantly in the medium project space and are preferred suppliers for a number of clients.Working with the Director, the key focus of the role is to assist in managing the tendering and estimating tasks of the construction process from start to completion. The role requires precision estimating, understanding margins, and quality tendering. Areas of responsibility include:Analysing information for the preparation and presentation of tender projectsAttending meetingsIdentifying opportunities for growth and evaluating the feasibility of these opportunitiesProcess improvementEnsuring qualityThis role requires you to work both autonomously and as part of a team with accountability. It requires being responsive to change and achieving commercial profit targets.In order to be a success in this position, you must have at least 6 years of estimating and QS experience as well as knowledge of the local market, ideally understanding rates and commercial construction legislation.
