What You'll Be Doing: Create Accurate Estimates: Develop detailed cost estimates that set the bar for project success. Manage Tender Processes: Oversee the entire tendering process, making sure everything is submitted on time and with precision. Handle Quantities: Prepare and update detailed schedules of quantities, and guide and mentor your team. Use Your Experience: Apply your on-site knowledge to create estimates from scratch. Work with Clients: Join client meetings, help with pre-qualification documents, and contribute to project plans. Innovate: Share your ideas on construction methods and pricing strategies. Use Technology: Work with modern electronic tendering systems to streamline the process. Support Negotiations: Help with post-tender negotiations and manage risks effectively. What We're Looking For: Experience: At least 5 years in civil infrastructure estimating, which could include roading, pavements, utilities, general civils, structures. Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications (B.ENG or QS). Tech Skills: Experience with electronic tendering systems, especially CCS Candy.
