We're committed to supporting everyone here at believe housing and being an inclusive organisation.Although this role is advertised as full-time, we will consider part-time, job share and alternative working pattern proposals where possible.Our offices are based in Seaham and Bishop Auckland and although we work flexibly, it is envisaged that this role will require both an offsite and onsite presence as per business need when required.About the RoleThe Senior Estates Officer will deliver a pro-active, customer-focused estate service that works alongside the teams within believe housing and with external partners to ensure our estates are maintained to a high standard. To have a particular focus on ensuring that all communal areas and other external areas on estates remain clean, safe and free from litter and fly-tipping.The successful candidate will:Coordinate a small team including the day-to-day allocation of tasks/duties and ensuring work is being conducted in a safe and effective manner.Support the Team Leader in operational delivery of an estate caretaking service including the monitoring of SLA's and contracts.Carry out ad-hoc inspections of the team for health and safety compliance to ensure adherence to health and safety/compliance protocols.Ensure estates are regularly inspected and take appropriate action to maintain a high standard of environmental cleanliness.Ensure all potential breaches of tenancy or issues in relation to private properties are reported to the appropriate officer.The post holder will be required to work across all believe housing locations.As well as a competitive salary of £33,079 – £34,351 some of our top benefits and rewards include:31-33 days of annual leaveWorking the believe way allows us to be more agile in the ways we work and creates a great work-life balanceAn excellent pension scheme with 27.1% employer contribution.
