This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week.
The remuneration range for this role is $106,892 to 150,906 (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience.
The opportunity You will project manage a portfolio of water and drainage asset renewal and upgrade projects through the design and construction phases. As a Senior Engineer, you are also expected to take the lead on complex issues, review work, and provide support and technical guidance to the team. We are looking for someone who is delivery-focused and can build strong relationships both internal and external.
You will get to: Lead the design of three waters infrastructure projects. Manage construction contracts with both internal and external stakeholders. Ensure strategic outcomes across your team's portfolio are delivered. Ensure the projects are monitored and managed as a programme to meet requirements. Review and provide guidance of designs carried out by others. About you To be successful in this role you will bring:
Be a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng). Have a Bachelor of Engineering (preferably civil or environmental engineering) or equivalent. Ideally have 10+ years' experience delivering projects. Have a strong understanding of three waters infrastructure design and construction. Be self-motivated and have a desire for personal continuous learning. Have strong coaching and mentoring skills.
