The role is perfect for a person who knows how to design and deliver engagement and consultation approaches to support key areas of work. The position will include:Working collaboratively with others to design engagement approaches to help achieve project outcomesPreparing engagement and stakeholder relationship plansAdvising and supporting teams to ensure effective delivery of engagement plansIdentifying and managing engagement risks and opportunitiesBuilding and maintaining relationshipsWe are keen to hear from you if you:are great at building relationships and engaging others in issues, solving problems and delivering solutionsare an excellent writer and able to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including Ministers and senior leadership teamshave experience in developing engagement and stakeholder planshave a good understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and experience in engaging with iwihave experience working within government and the public sectorhave a reputation as a capable, can-do, well organised and trusted professionalhave a tertiary and other relevant qualifications in communications and engagementMo te tima | About the teamYou will join our national Engagement Team and report to the Engagement Manager. The team provides strategic direction, tools, best practice guidance and quality assurance for DOC's engagement work.
