This newly created role seeks an experienced engineer capable of hitting the ground running, capable of providing technical support across the wider team and engaging with key stakeholders and clients.
The Role As part of the senior engineering team, this role will require you to utilise your extensive knowledge of the electrical sector to consult, design, and deliver projects across the industry. You will be involved in the process from the initial project scope to the final commissioning processes.
As a Senior Engineer, your responsibilities will include completing detailed designs across various power generation, high voltage, and industrial production environments. Additionally, you will play a crucial role as a mentor for junior/intermediate engineers in the team, guiding them as they develop their design and delivery skills within one of New Zealand's fastest-growing industries.
About You As an experienced Electrical Engineer, you'll bring strong technical knowledge and previous experience in detailed designs within Medium Voltage/High Voltage environments. This may see you coming from an industry asset owner looking to engage in a larger portfolio of projects or from a consultancy seeking new challenges and an environment where career development is emphasised from day one.
Alternatively, this role may suit someone with an industrial field-based background with prior experience in electrical design and an active interest in the operations and delivery space.
