Senior Electrical Engineer

As one of the most comprehensive Building Services consultancies in the market, my client provide a full service offering across the Advisory, Building Services and Property sectors. With a wealth of knowledge gained across a broad range of building types they are well placed to deliver technical solutions to industry best practice,optimise a building’s performance and understand the needs of building owners. Your role will be to provide professional consulting services to a Senior level, including for business development, strategic planning and project leadership.
Reporting into the Electrical Building Services Manager, you will be an integral part of a high performing team, with significant projects focussed in the commercial, healthcare, education and transportation sectors. This includes large scale legacy projects that will help meet the growing demands of Auckland’s infrastructure.
To be considered you will require:
A tertiary Electrical Engineering or Building Services qualification
Prior NZ consultancy experience and working proficiency with the NZ building code across a broad range of sectors
CPEng registration with Engineering NZ desirable
Experience with control systems and protocols, such as SCADA, IP andC-Bus desirable
Confident providing specialist electrical input into the planning of multi-disciplinary projects andassisting others to scope out accurately
Able to undertake verification activities and technical reviews of projects
7 years + post graduate experience
