About the Role
As Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cutting-edge projects. Your role will see you managing the controls design process on a variety of projects. Your responsibilities will include:

Electrical System Design: Review and sign off layouts, design PLC and High-level control network layouts, assist project managers during the electrical installation tender process along with the installation and commissioning phases.
Technical Documentation: Produce comprehensive electrical schematics, field device layouts, motor control panel layouts, single-line diagrams, and other necessary documentation in adherence to contract specifications and relevant standards.
Project Management: Take full accountability for the electrical portion of the projects including meeting specifications, time schedules and budgets.
Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
People Management: Supervise other engineers in the same field, assist in the training of junior engineers.

Skills & Experience
To excel in this role, you should bring the following skills, experience, and attributes:

Electrical Design Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in electrical system design with a focus on baggage and materials handling projects.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering: A degree in electrical engineering or a related field is required.
Technical Competence: Possess a strong working knowledge of EPlan or AutoCAD, PLC Programming packages (preferably Rockwell, Omron, and Siemens), and SCADA packages (preferably Iconix or Ifix).
Project Experience: Demonstrate experience in managing controls projects from concept to client handover, preferably within Baggage or Material Handling Systems.
Regulatory Compliance: Display a working knowledge and understanding with AS/NZ3000 or equivalent international wiring standards and regulations is essential.
