As a Senior Education Adviser ECE you will play a critical role in our region's Learning Support team by:
Following Ministry processes to assess regulatory framework when licensing new services, change of management, licensing assessments, complaint or incident investigation, identify non-compliant and gather evidence and make recommendations.Working in a collaborative way with key stakeholders to provide timely, accurate, quality implementation advice and support, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and obligations.Supporting the ECE team to provide high quality service to the sector, the Ministry and Government.Salary range: $84,425 - $91,563 per annum + 3% kiwisaver. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary based on their individual skills and experience. A tertiary qualification in early childhood education or other relevant discipline.Understanding of early learning services, early childhood curriculum and licensing criteria for early learning services.The ability to understand and apply the principles of Te Tirirti o Waitangi and tangata whenuatanga.Be part of a diverse and friendly integrated team where full support and training is given to be successful in your role, with a supportive manager and team.At Te Tahuhu o te Matauranga, we work to provide services and support nationally, regionally and locally to the education sector, and in some cases, directly to akonga and whanau.
