Senior Economy Game Designer

A Senior Economy Game Designer opportunity is available for a talented professional to join our client's team in Auckland, New Zealand, on a permanent basis. This role involves analysing player behaviour, optimising in-game economies, and delivering actionable insights to drive player engagement, retention, and monetisation.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities: Analyse gameplay data to uncover player behaviour, monetisation trends, and the health of the in-game economy.
Collaborate with designers to implement, balance, and improve game economy features.
Create reports and dashboards to track KPIs, offering actionable insights for progression, retention, and monetisation.
Conduct A/B testing and experiments to refine game features and monetisation strategies.
Translate complex data into clear, impactful insights to enhance player engagement and satisfaction.
You Have: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
Proven experience as an Economy Game Designer.
Experience in SQL, data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker), and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R).
Strong analytical skills paired with an understanding of player psychology and game design principles.
Excellent communication skills to present data-driven recommendations effectively.
