Combine that with a pioneering spirit at making a positive impact on brands, society, and each other and you'll soon realise why we're at the forefront of the digital economy.What your role and typical day might look likeA Senior Digital Manager takes on the bulk of the online planning responsibilities in a team working to pull together media plans that complement the media strategy, non-digital planning and ultimately the client brief.As the title suggests they are also responsible for managing their team and are a key player in managing Media relationships with the client. The stretch for a Senior Digital Manager from a Digital Manager is the ability to manage smaller clients (or smaller divisions within large clients) with limited supervision taking on some of the more senior responsibilities on these clients.Responsibilities could includeMaintaining a good understanding of the media landscape and client industry portfolio, in-particular with new trends, innovations and technologiesStrong understanding of agency SBUs, and the ability to manage workflow through these unitsTo oversee the buying and implementation of all online activitiesTo ensure quality control across all documents being sent to the client including but not limited to tracking/optimizing reports, post analysis, competitive, media evaluations and schedulesContribute to the planning documents being built in line with strategies developed by strategy team, and present these sections to clientsBrief media partners and evaluate their proposals in line with the ICP processWork closely with digital director on annual publisher negotiations as requiredDevelop and maintain online media schedules across client portfolioTo sell recommendations to clients driving home the creativity, innovation, and effectiveness of an ideaWork closely with internal team and agency partners to create a cohesive plan that is executed on deadlineNurturing talent by training, supporting and mentoring junior members in the team to ensure they're continually learning and developing their skillsTo be pro-actively involved in new business pitches and RFP responses as neededA bit about youAt least 4 years' experience working within a media and advertising agency or similar environment in a planning and client service lead role.A deep understanding of the digital media marketplace, technology, products and trends.Thorough understanding of the industries in client portfolio and in particular the digital norms for the category.Ability to gather insights and develop solutions that simplify the complex with a wide range of audiences.Excellent client service skills – the ability to gain trust and confidence.Confident communicator and able to present work with conviction.Effective time management.Next StepsSound exactly like the sort of role for you?
