Your New Job:
Reporting Directly to the Head of Platforms who is based in Singapore, you will be the first and well-versed individual contributor to help establish the ongoing DevOps practice in a very diverse and collaborative team. You will be engaging with multiple verticals of the organization to support the Engineering team. Your role will be to ensure the evolution of their potential cloud offering enabling products to transition from development to production on some of their greenfield projects rolling out globally.
• An exceptional track record of delivering cloud solutions from inception to proof-of-concept and then into production.
• Technologically driven mindset with a passion for adopting cloud-native architecture.
• Depth of engagement and passion for technical problem-solving skills collaborating in cross-functional, global teams.
• Leadership skills and self-management are a huge priority. Someone who is organised and can self-manage their workload and time.
• Effective and persuasive communication, professional acumen, and mindset with task management to juggle their timelines effectively.
Your Experience:
• 7-10 years of experience with DevOps Engineering tools ideally coming from a software engineering or Infrastructure background.
• Advanced level of experience in containerisation and orchestration with Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker (ECS).
• Apache Kafka experience is a must, a strong level of deployment, management, and security. Kafka Cluster Architecture.
• Experience with service monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.
• New Relic and GCP understanding as there will be migrations to New Relic long-term.
• Ansible experience is also desired for ongoing build and development within CI/CD.
• PostgreSQL is also highly desired for database management.
