This is your opportunity to join our Developer Services Team! Working within our Strategy and Planning team, you will be involved in some truly unique projects!
In this role, you will be a point of contact for review, advice and guidance regarding:
Water and wastewater designs for Auckland Council under the RMA Consultations, Resource consents, Engineering plan approvals and Asset approvals Applications for new commercial meters. You will support the Head of Developer Services, Area Managers and Technical Lead Engineers, and to be a sounding board for the Development Engineers within the team.
Other duties will include:
Approve and monitor construction and accept extensions to the water and wastewater networks constructed by third party Ensure that the asset information is accurately recorded in GIS in timely manner Manage specific projects and facilitate their progress Review CoP dispensations Respond proactively to new business opportunities Review, quote and invoice new connections to the public water and wastewater network Build close working relationships with key customers, internal and external stakeholders Assist managers and engineers in the group as needed Promote a positive H&S environment across the business. You are a highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a team, both in the office and onsite. Your experience includes:
Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent tertiary level qualification 3 to 5 years' experience in the water/wastewater engineering role Excellent technical background, design, construction, planning Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Stakeholder relationship skills, both internally and externally Strong attention to detail (it really is important in this role) A focus on continuous improvement of systems and process Commercial acumen A Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) qualification is desirable but not essential.
