Within our internal Lion Design team, we're looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our talented team! This role will report directly into our Head of Design and is available on a 10-month Fixed term contract at our Fanshaw Street Office with hybrid flexible working arrangements available.
This exciting role delivers creative, design and brand communication solutions that impact consumer attitude and behaviour whilst aligning to brand positioning and architecture standards. Lion is the home to many loved NZ Adult Beverages, from Speights and Steinlager through to Mac's, Hyoketsu, Wither Hills, Smirnoff, Panhead and Little Creatures you'll work across them all!
A day in the life…you will support the quality of design and creative through: Collaborate with relevant brand/creative/digital and connections team to deliver high quality design solutions.Push creative boundaries to ensure we are leading the market with innovative creative solutions.Deliver key creative assets for innovative brand/digital/Connections and Shopper activity aligned to brand campaigns/positioning and insights.Develop engaging creative executions through appropriate channels with the wider marketing team to deliver best in class communications.What you will need from day one… A clear passion for creativity and design.Strong understanding of design systems with Senior design expertise in Branding, Packaging, POS, and Advertising Communications.Previous experience in FMCG sector preferred but not essential.Demonstrated senior design experience in Ad Agency, Design Studio, or Client In-House settings.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.Familiarity with Adobe After Effects and Figma advantageous.Ability to generate compelling, original design solutions as well as developing production-quality assets from agency Key Visuals and mock-ups.Comprehensive understanding of both print and digital processes.Exceptional finished art skills, emphasizing attention to detail and accuracy.Great interpersonal skills, with an ability to work effectively in a team environment and individually.Autonomously manage multiple projects at the same time, from concept through to completion.We'd love to see some examples of your recent work – please upload with your application or include a link to your online portfolio!
