Brand Management (Marketing & Communications)

We're looking for a Senior Design Advisor to help us tell Council's story through creative and compelling communications and design. Reporting to the Communications and Engagement Manager you'll work alongside other communications and engagement team members, meaning there is great opportunity for collaboration, learning new things and having fun along the way.
In this role you'll work across the organisation, designing and managing the print of corporate documents like the Annual Report and Annual Plan, plus communications and marketing collateral that will be used across a number of different channels and meet the needs of a variety of different audiences. You'll also have the opportunity to showcase your photography and video skills.
Responsibilities: Previous experience at a senior level in graphic design, planning and delivery of large, complex publications.
Strong writing and editing skills and experience presenting complex information clearly and simply.
A commitment to innovation and creativity through design across multiple channels.
Skills in photography, videography, editing and production are preferable.
Ability to work collaboratively with the team and assist with a wide range of projects.
Proven ability to balance multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
Local Government experience is an advantage.
