They really are an excellent team to be a part of!About the Role:This is an incredible space where you will be joining a data science practice that has health, environment and forensics as its foundational science pillars. The team operates as both a vertical and horizontal science pillar where they conduct leading edge data science research to provide greater insight and value across the foundational science pillars. This is a Senior Data Scientist position and as such requires someone coming from a researcher background, rather than analytics, and someone who is comfortable leading research projects – you will be writing papers on your projects. Collaboration is key and to ensure yours and the team's work is impactful you will need to be an excellent communicator that can effectively talk with a range of audiences and be comfortable presenting. Cambridge University and MIT are an example of some of the global organisations the team collaborates with. This role will involve a lot of experimenting through utilising synthetic data that enables agent-based modelling and machine learning. There will also be an element of leveraging your experience to train and mentor junior staff members.
