We are looking for a high-performing and enthusiastic SeniorData Scientist (Internal job title: Senior Data Science and Engineering Specialist), who will be hands-on, building AI solutions, and developing products from concept to production across all areas of Air New Zealand. You will be part of our Data Science team which has developed a strong results-oriented reputation across our business. This is a perfect opportunity for someone passionate about AI who wants to come and help drive exciting change at the airline.
We are looking for people that will bring: A highly motivated, self-starter, proactive attitude that thrives working in a collaborative team environment.The ability to lead the analysis, design, and deployment of new AI initiatives.A curious attitude, comfortable dealing with problems that are not always well specified or understood and data that is sometimes incomplete and inaccurate.Strong experience in contributing to practical ethical AI standards.Confidence and experienceapplying AI to help solve business challenges.
Key skills and experience required for this role: 5+ years' experience as a Data Scientist in a relevant field.Strong foundation of Python skills.Experience developing AI solutions within a Cloud Environment.
