You'll be applying business analysis skills and techniques to understand, validate, synthesize and articulate problems and opportunities to support the development and delivery of data-driven solutions. Ka aha to ra e kite ai? - What will your day look like As a Senior Business Analyst, you will: Work in an agile and collaborative team, working with a range of business and technical stakeholders to deliver outcomes and value for customers. Share knowledge, support capability growth and identify opportunities to deliver continuous improvement across Data Delivery. Act as a trusted Subject Matter Expert and provide technical business analysis expertise to help deliver complex initiatives. Develop requirements that are fit for purpose and accurate, display an understanding of the implications to the project or program, and manage the requirements throughout the life of the project. Create engaging presentations and documentation to effectively communicate customer needs, as well as business and technical requirements, insights, and recommendations. Ensure that assigned business analysis activities are conducted efficiently and within agreed timeframes and ensure that the outputs and benefits are clear. Ou Pukenga? - What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Deep experience as a Business Analyst operating at a senior level in the technology domain, preferably in an agile context. Strong aptitude for working with data, including an understanding of data attributes and the ability to analyse and interpret large, complex datasets. Foundational understanding of data warehousing concepts & proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis to derive actionable insights. Ability to facilitate conversations and workshops to define, elicit, and articulate customer data needs and technical specifications to deliver the required solutions or functions. Expertise in representing data, technical, and business requirements through various documentation methods (e.g., story maps, BRDs, FDDs, technical specifications, business rules, data models, data flow diagrams) and building backlogs to support iterative development. Strong analytical skills, combined with a high level of organization and flexibility in responding to changing priorities. A natural ability to build relationships with stakeholders and comfort leading conversations with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders. You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
