About the team Our Data and Analytics team located at the centre of the organisation in our Wellington head office Waikoukou, are an eco-system for fact-based decision-making to guide better data driven investment and operational decisions in line with our strategic priorities. Investing in our data, we will create new value which flows from one part of the business to another.
The Opportunity - a six-month fixed term contract Due to parental leave, there is an opportunity to join us as one of two Senior Data Analysts. You will engage with business to understand and document data and analytics requirements.
You'll work closely with our data engineers, DataOps engineers, data scientists, and architects to build and deliver the required data and analytics solutions to the business.
What will you bring? Previous experience working with structured and unstructured data from a range of sources will ensure you aren't fazed by the size and scale of data at Transpower. Ideally you will have experience delivering data and analytics solutions using Waterfall and/or Agile delivery methodologies.
Your CV and cover letter will ideally convey: Practical data analysis experience working with data warehouses and products, including Snowflake and Power BIPractical experience eliciting and documenting business requirements for data and analytics solutionsExperience working with enterprise systems typically used by an electricity company, e.g. IBM Maximo, OSISoft PI, GIS, SCADA, etc.Join us at Transpower Aotearoa is powered by the people who work here.
