About the Role
MAGIQ Software, based in New Zealand, Australia and the US, is a fast-growing Software-as-a-Service company. We specialise in offering a comprehensive Cloud ERP, as well as standalone budgeting and document management solutions tailored for the public sector.
We are in search of a Senior Customer Account Manager who will become a primary customer advocate on MAGIQ Software solutions, along with understanding the regulatory requirements and commitments within the Public Sector focussed customers, which are dominated by Local Government authorities. This is a hybrid role, a mix of account management and new business.
The responsibilities of the Senior Customer Account Manager include engaging with both current and prospective customers, showcasing system innovations, offering solution-based that drive customer best practice . All while meeting revenue targets and growing the New Zealand market. It's expected that you will quickly become the face of the business in New Zealand.
Our aim is to provide an exceptional customer experience that transforms customers into dedicated advocates, ensuring their long-term loyalty to MAGIQ Software.
This position reports directly to the Group Sales Manager for ANZ.

About You
You possess an in-depth knowledge of Local Government operations and relevant regulations.
Your background may include a previous role within a SaaS technology company.
You are proficient in engaging at all levels in customer contacts.
Facilitate technical workshops, ensuring users fully utilise MAGIQ's software solutions.
You excel at converting customer needs into precise product specifications and offerings.
Your communication and presentation abilities are outstanding, and you have a robust grasp of software technologies and cloud-based systems.
Your problem-solving skills enable you to simplify intricate concepts for non-technical audiences.
You can manage both existing accounts and identify and drive new business opportunities
Additionally, you are open to frequent travel across New Zealand.
Responsibilities
Ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and growth across our New Zealand market.
Advise customers on configuring MAGIQ Software solutions to meet their requirements and integrate with other systems.
Establish expertise to guide customers and seize opportunities.
Provide assistance and support to help customers realise the value of their investment, and supply documentation for further aid.
Foster robust relationships with various stakeholders to enhance user adoption and business value.
Contribute to achieving revenue targets.
Conduct product demonstrations and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
Create customer success plans and account plans for each customer in the designated region.
Oversee and manage reporting on all opportunities in the portfolio using Sales Force.
Meet customer needs in terms of timeliness, proposal quality, and outcomes.
This position, ideally based in one of New Zealand's major cities, requires travel throughout the country and participation in national customer user groups along with industry conferences.
