We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced CT Technologist to support the provision of efficient imaging radiology services across our Wellington region to step up into a Senior CT Technologist role.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will include: Lead/assist the CT team, specifically in the provision of providing a high-quality CT service.
Contribute to protocol development with continued process review in conjunction with our CT Service Lead.
High levels of communication and relationship management with local referrers and patients.
Perform a wide range of CT Imaging procedures and apply professional knowledge in selecting and adapting methods best suited with a high level of independence.
Provide technical advice to both radiologist and technical staff to ensure an effective outcome for the patient.
Responsibility for internal CT training as required.
Fully participate in the CT, CT On-call roster and PET CT with the ability to work in x-ray as required.

To be successfully appointed to this role, you will have: Knowledge of relevant CT medical imaging techniques.
Knowledge of current trends in quality assurance protocols.
Demonstrated knowledge of best practice CT Imaging.
An understanding of the requirements of clinical and professional clients.
Demonstrated knowledge of the responsibilities of a CT Technologist in the safe delivery imaging procedures.
An appreciation of medico-legal responsibilities in the delivery of Imaging Services.
A relevant tertiary qualification and a current annual practicing certificate.
