Senior Cost Managers - MEP-Australia Wide Full-time

Turner & Townsend are an independent professional services company specialising in programme management, project management, cost management and consulting across the property, infrastructure and natural resources sectors.
Due to significant growth and ongoing delivery success with our clients Australia wide, Turner & Townsend's Senior MEP Cost Manager will undertake pre and post contract client-facing duties for our Real Estate, Defence and Infrastructure projects, typically both in T&T office and in client offices across various projects in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, and Perth. The role requires experience with MEP cost planning, estimating for major utilities, building services, cost reporting, procurement, and commercial management.
Key Responsibilities Tender analysis experience
Procurement and contract advisory experience
Commercial reporting experience
Variation assessment experience
Team training and best practice
Lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface
Developing working relationships, problem solving, and driving projects to successful completion
Managing the design process to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectations
Reviewing project plans and specifications, scheduling, cost-saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc.
Managing project safety and environmental requirements
Managing project timelines, risks, and reporting
Managing project budgets and advising on options to keep budget on track
Chairing project/site meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors
Engaging with marketing and business development initiatives
Qualifications: RICS, AIQS with a Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or MEP Engineering degree.
